Saturday football for children aged 5 to 9 (Juniors/Panthers) and 9 to 13 (Seniors)
We are based in Solihull with our senior matches and junior development sessions held at Hampton FC and Lighthall School.
Little League Football aims to provide organised football for children of all abilities, both boys and girls. Little League Football’s ethos is founded on:

We are adamant that “win at any cost” mentalities are inappropriate for our age group of team sports.
Solihull Little League has been in operation for over 25 years and follows the Little League Football rules and principles. Our primary goals have not changed to this day:
“Solihull Little League prides itself on its strong community involvement. The emphasis is on mass participation rather than elitism, on enthusiasm and effort rather than talent. Players, as well as their parents, are encouraged to develop team spirit, self-discipline, and sportsmanship.”.
Solihull Little League is for boys and girls in reception (aged 5) through to school year 8 (aged 13).
We have two age groups: •
Juniors & Panthers: Reception (age 5) to School year 5 (age 9).
Seniors: School Years 5 to 8 (age 9-13).

FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
Held each Saturday morning.
Developing football skills in a fun and engaging atmosphere. Our inclusive environment focuses on the fundamentals of the game. Our structured training sessions, delivered by FA qualified coaches not only focus on ball skills but they are also designed to encourage self-confidence and teamwork.

SENIORS
School year 5 – 8
11 aside competitive football matches
Held each Saturday morning.
The Seniors are comprised of 6 teams, each with a squad of 14 players, who compete in 11 aside games (25 mins each half) at the same venue each Saturday (so there are no away matches).
Kick-off times are 9.00am, 10.00am, and 11.00am.
Each team plays approximately 26 games in the season and train once a week for an hour. 3 teams train on Wednesdays at 6pm and 3 teams train on Thursdays at 6pm (see below for more details about training)
SENIORS SEASON
Autumn League (10 games), Pat Duke Memorial Cup (3 games), Winter League (10 games), and Spring Cup (3 games) are the four competitions within the season, so each team playing approximately 26 games in the season from September to May

SENIORS TRAINING SESSIONS
Every week, the senior teams have a one-hour training session.
Reds, Greens and Sky Blues teams train on Wednesday evenings at 6pm at Old Silhillians Warwick Rd, Knowle, Solihull B93 9LW.
Yellows, Whites and Dark Blues teams train on Thursday evenings at 6pm at Light Hall School, Hathaway Rd, Shirley, Solihull B90 2PZ
Both sessions are held on all-weather pitches.
